Keynote Speaker: 

Terry S. Johnson, RNC, ARNP, MN is founder of Lode Star Enterprises, INC., a professional practice service and maintains a clinical practice as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.

Terry is a nationally known speaker and is currently a fellow in the Patient Safety Leadership Fellowship Program through the Health Research and Educational Trust and the American Hospital Association.  She was the 2006 recipient for the National Association of Neonatal Nurses SIG Award.  Terry also served on AWHONN's Advisory Committee for Care of the Late Preterm Infant. 

Terry will be speaking on Safety in Clinical Practice, Safe Practices in the use of Human Milk Feedings in the NICU, and how to make nursing magically reappear.

Additional Speakers:

Leslie Lowell Stoutenburg RNC, MS is the Director of the Pregnancy and Post Partum Mood and Anxiety Disorder Program in the Alexian Brothers Hospital Network.  Leslie will present:  The Blues and Beyond:  Perinatal Mood Dsiorders.

Dr Darrel Waggoner is Associate Professor of Human Genetics and Pediatrics and Medical Director, Human Genetics at the University of Chicago Medical Center.  Dr Waggoner specializes in the treatment of metabolic and genetic disorders in children and adults.  He sees patients in Medical Genetics, Craniofacial and Neurogenetic Clinics, and provides consultation services for pateints within the UCMC.  He will be discussing:  Genetic Essentials for the NICU.
