Objectives:  List risk factors and diagnostic criteria for Central Line Associated Blood Stream Infection(CLABSI)

Discuss the short and long term consequences of CLABSI

State the best evidence for best practice in preventing CLABSI

Discuss the quality improvement process to decrease CLABSI

2.  Neonatal Infection

Objectives:  Recognize common neonatal infections, epidemiology and treatment options

Review endotracheal aspirate cultures for the diagnosis of ventilator associated pneumonia

List nursery wide behaviors that improve infection prevention activities
